Our Story

Welcome to the Shipetiari Native Community of Manu, a Matsigenka community that safeguards the forest and shares its knowledge. Our lodge Pankotsi offers experiential tourism, where you can get to know our way of life and our culture.

Experiential Tourism

Pankotsi cabana

We offer traditional meals and lodging at our Pankotsi Guesthouse for visitors.

The experience includes interaction with local families, guided walks, and cultural workshops.

Natural products harvested in harmony with the forest, such as copaiba oil, Amazonian plantain, cacao, and medicinal plants that preserve ancestral knowledge.

We offer short workshops on the sustainable use of resources and the integration of traditional local crafts.
